This is extremely inconvenient, and making me angrier even day I have to deal with it. If I open a file located in a different folder, that folder is not offered, and I have to navigate to it. The folder that the file actually resides in. Now, when I use the "Save as" function, the offered folder location is always the first folder I opened in the instance of the Microsoft application (Word, Excel, etc) that I have open. Microsoft pushed out an update about 10 days ago.
